In a surprising collaboration that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and terrifying changes reverberate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.

The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who finish the mission will acquire an special katana in addition to several artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Titan-inspired attire for Yasuke
• Mikasa costume for Naoe
• Unique implements
• Survey Corps steed

Third Free Story Addition

This release also adds the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
